Hej
I am grateful you stopped by and took an interest in my streetphotography :). I would love to introduce myself to you.
I was born in Denmark, but have spend most of my life in different countries - South Africa, America and Germany. Right now I am based in Hamburg, Germany. My journey into Streetphotography started a few years ago. I have mainly been working within portraits, architecture and event photography, but this was a field full of new, raw and unperfected images.
Immediately I was fascinated by the magic of the street – a place full of tension and unpredictability, where I never know what might appear around the next corner. The moments I capture exist only once; its a fleeting instant, which can never be repeated. This makes streetphotography to me unique and kind of an adrenaline rush, that I love to vision wherever I go.
My photography moves between reduction and emotion. I search for the power of simplicity – clear lines, quiet spaces, minimal forms and wish to include fragile moods and small truths.
People are at the heart of my work, though not always at its center. In glances, movements, and empty spaces, I look for stories or graphical patterns – moments that reveal something about us without saying it aloud.
